About Us

Mission: We are here to aspire girls to advance to the next level.

As a teenage girl I was quickly seen as aggressive when I would speak firmly and clearly, and change my tone and body language to be listened to. Which I  know now was me being assertive. Between family, friends, school and church I wore many different hats to conform to whichever environment I found myself in to be seen and not heard. I've gone to 11 different schools (3-High Schools). I found myself alone, voiceless, and a lot of times seen only when others needed me. We must be very careful with our girls because that is when I began engaging and developing the art of self-criticism.

REFLECTION

Reflecting is about questioning, in a positive way, what you do and why you do it and then deciding whether there is a better, or more efficient way of doing it in the future.

Reflection helps girls find meaning in making connections between educational experiences and real life situations.

REPRESENTATION

Minority women start new businesses in the U.S. at four times the rate of non-minority men. A survey by Gusto, in 2021, states women represented 49% of startups in the U.S. In the US, there are over 14 million women-owned small businesses, accounting for nearly 40% of all businesses in the country.

GROW! Girls are extremely unique, existing opportunities in the county can bring insightful entrepreneurship goals through women speakers, site-visits, presentations and interviews.

GIRLS VS WORLD

In all actuality it is suggested that across the world having daughters within the family is preferred, in order to provide care for others and the household.

This poses a conflict of despair all over the world. Such oppression and it's many variants fall short for real girls of today. A girl's success is a triumphant reward for all of humanity.
